It means another 1,033 people tested positive on Friday, August 21, 2020.
These are the figures for the North West
In the North West today (Saturday, August 22, 2020), there has been a total of 50,973 confirmed cases since testing began, an increase of 267 since the last data update.
There are currently 99 people in the region’s hospitals who are being treated for COVID-19, including 19 on ventilation.
