It means another 1,288 people tested positive on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
These are the figures for the North West
In the North West today (Sunday, August 23, 2020), there has been a total of 51,153 confirmed cases since testing began, an increase of 180 since the last data update.
There are currently 99 people in the region’s hospitals who are being treated for COVID-19, including 19 on ventilation.
