Service 74 and 75, which are being operated on behalf of Lancashire County Council will run from Fleetwood to Preston, calling at Cleveleys, Poulton, Great Eccleston, Weeton, Kirkham and other popular villages along the way.
With the new routes forming part of Blackpool Transport’s integrated bus and tram network, it means customers can benefit from even greater value using their Saver Ticket range.
Customers who already travel with Blackpool Transport will be able to use the new routes at no extra cost with a Saver Ticket.
The routes connect both Fleetwood and Cleveleys directly to Poulton, making it easier for commuters to access Poulton Train Station.
Jane Cole, Managing Director at Blackpool Transport said: “We’re delighted to be working with Lancashire County Council to provide these essential services for residents across the Fylde Coast and beyond.
“Customers have asked us for direct links between Fleetwood, Cleveleys and Poulton and these two bus routes will do so running 7 days a week. It expands our already integrated transport system further and brings even better value for commuters on the Fylde Coast.”
