In the North West today (Saturday, October 3, 2020), there has been a total of 88,284 confirmed cases since testing began – an increase of 1,603.

There are currently 676 people in the region’s hospitals who are being treated for COVID-19, including 93 on ventilation.

A total of 20,814 people have received treatment for the virus at North West hospitals since the pandemic began.

Cumbria – 3,624 (Up from 3,593)

Rochdale – 3,528 (Up from 3,460)

Salford – 3,231 (Up from 3,180)

Tameside – 3,113 (Up from 3,092)

Cheshire East – 3,015 (Up from 2,987)

Sefton – 3,039 (Up from 2,965)
